PkM: Pelatihan Instalasi dan Pemasangan CCTV Musholla Ar Rahman di Perumahan Graha Mitra Washita

Along with the development of the era, basically a mosque or prayer room was established of course with the aim of worshiping Allah SWT. However, since the development of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad also made the mosque the center of government, center of study, center of education, Islamic discussion and so on. Social activities in recent times, the existence of a mosque or prayer room is very important. Likewise, the existence of mosque or musholla organizing organizations such as DKM (Mosque/Musholla Prosperity Council) makes the mosque/musolla always busy with community social activities.

Based on the crowds of people who worship every day, of course, also involving many worshipers, the vigilance of worshipers who bring motorized vehicles and other goods needs to be constantly increased. This PKM activity was carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday, 24 and 25 August 2021, which was held against the backdrop of information from the chairman of the Takmir Musholla Ar-Rahman in the Graha De Fath housing and Graha Mitra Washita Ds.Ngijo, Kec. Karangploso, Kab. Unfortunate about the existence of criminal acts that often occur in the mosque. These criminal activities include theft of charity koltak, motorized vehicles belonging to congregations and people around the prayer room feel insecure and become less wise in worship.

With the increasing number of criminal acts, the musholla management asked the Malang State Polytechnic PKM Team to install and install CCTV devices. The use of CCTV media is very good in improving the mosque’s security system, so it is hoped that it can minimize crimes that occur in the Ar Rahman prayer room area and the surrounding community and congregation to become more wise and solemn in worship.

Mr. Rachmad Saptono who is the chief executive of PKM Polinema also added that this activity was carried out to provide knowledge and counseling about the importance of CCTV for mosque/musholla security and how to operate Internet-based CCTV to the management of the Ar-Rahman prayer room so that it can be used properly to monitor crime when it occurs. He also thanked the musholla management for providing the opportunity to be able to carry out these PKM activities.
